An incursion has been arranged offering a wonderful opportunity for all students to learn to create their own commercial quality video games at school.

Date of Incursion: Thursday, 1 August 2013
Description: By the time students arrive home after the event, they will be able to create their own commercial grade 3D World with hills, ocean, sky and trees which blow in the wind. They will also learn how to import vehicles and create winding roads to make fun driving games, write simple artificial intelligence code, character animation code as well as learn the 12 most important coding concepts needed to create games for all major platforms, mobile devices and games consoles.
Other information: There will be an initial capacity of 30 students per grade set so that all students will have a reasonable chance of securing a place.
Cost: $45 (includes over $3500 worth of resources)
Special Instructions: In order to book a place at the Roadshow:
Students must secure a place by returning the permission note (including payment) to reception so their place can be confirmed.After the initial round of capacity bookings has been completed, wait list booking opportunities may be made to students who missed out. They will then need to follow the step above.All students would benefit enormously from this experience.
